Beaches in Cabo Roig - Cala Capitan and Cala Caleta
Cabo Roig boasts two excellent 'Blue Flag' beaches which are very popular with holidaymakers to the area, Cala Caleta and Cala Capitan are both clean, sandy beaches which are safe and well cared for. The beaches are signposted from the main N332 road at the 'pyramid' roundabout.
Cala Caleta has a beach bar (as does Cala Capitan) which is open until the early hours during the busy summer months, providing drinks, ice-creams and snacks (the tapas are particularly popular). Cala Caleta is the starting point of the picturesque cliff walk to La Zenia, a recommended way to spend an hour or two on a warm summers evening.
